Instrument panel brake warning light won't go away

last week the "break light" warning lit up on my instrument panel on my 2000 avalon xls. it stays lit all the time so i figured a light was out. i check the back lights and one of my taillights was out on the driver side (the little one in the bottom corner) got a replacement bulb and change it out. now everything looks good back there. but the warning light is still on. do i need to reset it somehow ?

Disconnect the negative on the battery and it will most likely go away.

If you are talking about the light that comes on when your emergency brake is set, that also warns when the brake fluid level is low. Check your brake fluid level.

check the 3rd brake lite it has 2 bulbs
