I wanted to share something that happened on my 2000 avalon. The front passenger door had a ratttle/buzzing noise from the speaker. I looked at the speaker and noticed the paper cone mount had warped causing the speaker to, not have proper voice coil alignment. Went to car toys and they suggested the Infinity kappa 62.9I 6 1/2" speaker. They said they have tried many speakers with the JBL system but those were the only one that sounded right with the rest of the system.... they are pricey ($130 a pair) but they do sound good and they are a true 2 ohm speaker which is what the amp is expecting.....just though I would share the info. Toyota wanted $160 for one JBL speaker. I just looked at amazon before pressing submit.....ouch, you can get them here for $70 :-(
