Rear Strut Loose

I had the struts replaced about 18K ago. Rattling started 3K ago. Thought it was in the plastic bin inside the trunk. It is the strut! I think the rear seat has to come out. How does the rear seat come out? Any advice to the top of the rear strut will be greatly appreciated.

On my '03 access to the mount is behind the seat and under the rear deck. My Hane's manual said I had to remove the deck, but that wasn't true. Once you remove the seat, the mounting bolts are right there.

I had to pull up on the front of the seat bottom. Grab it down by the carpet and give it a good, sharp pull. I think there are two snap-in points, one under each seat position. Once the front is loose, pull the entire bottom out towards the front of the car. The bolts holding the back are then removed, they're at the bottom of the seat back, and then it is yanked up and off it's catches at the top.
