Help! removing headlights!

2000 avy, I unbolt/unscrews and the side that is near the fender (see picture below) seems stuck for both headlights! I dont want to pull it out worrying that something may break. Does anyone know what i need to do?

*pic found on google*

there is a long snap pin in the turn signal area of the light. you can see it if you remove the fender liner. it just needs some persuasion. It will come out after removing the top two bolts and some pressure that pulls the light straight out. Feels like it will break, but it won't
