We have a 2001 Toyota Avalon. The AC does work and blows cold air however ever 5 seconds the AC light starts blinking and compressor kicks off. As soon as the button is reset and pushed again cold air immediately starts blowing again for five second, etc..

We have been told that this is an AC/heat sensor switch. Can anyone please tell us the name of the part that needs to be changed?

It happened to me yesterday. It was a really nice and warm weather outside. then rain really HEAVY and big puddles were everywhere (in like 5 mins). I tried to avoid the puddles as much as possible. Then my windows and windshield got foggy fast!. and notice my A/C blinking. I was worried that my A/C is malfunctioning or something.Just saw that CSAXON gave the link
