2003 Avalon Radio

I have the premium sound system with the 6 disc player. I am starting to have trouble with FM reception. Does anyone know where to get a factory radio repaired or replaced? do not wnat to go aftermarket if I can help it.

Where are you having reception problems at? Location? Have you noticed anything change around where these issues are and is it constant or does it come and go?

Make sure your antenna wire is still connected in the rear window. Maybe something has caused it to separate and is deteriorating your reception?

If it truely is the radio, you can send it into the manuafacturer and they could either send you an exchange unit or repair your unit. If you send me the model number on the face of the unit, I'll give you the name of the manufacturer.

I'm not sure there is even an issue, as it was both occasional and one station. Going to wait and see.

BTW, I thought the antennae was the little "cross hatched" area at the top center of the front window, not the rear?

John - thanks. As of now, I'm thinking it was just a bad day for the radio station, but I will keep this for reference!
