No need to cut wires to disable DRL. There are fuse(s) not sure exactly where but check the fuse boxes under the hood (should have labels under fuse box top) and driver side near hood opener. just pull it out and DRL is disabled.

I was told you can still run into problems by just removing the fuse . Headlights flickering ect. im putting in a 100000k HID kit . Are you sure that will work lol . Im just nervous . I dont wanna hurt my baby lol .

There may be some related info on this DIY job over at Solaraguy. Search DRL, there's even a thread for independent fog light mod. I curious to see if they are the exact same on the Avalon.

I highly doubt you will hurt your Avy, as long as it have the relay harness. I don't have HID in my High beam. I just installed 8000K HID in my fog yesterday and never have ANY problem. Same for my low beams(have relay harness also), had it for almost 2 year and no problem ever since i bought it.

but I highly doubt you will run into any problem because you are only disabling the DRL. The fuse for DRL is in fuse box next to battery. its the "7.5" fuse.
