2nd Generation Wheels and Tires

Hello Fellow Toyota owners, I have a 2001 Avalon XL, I am looking for wheels and tires to finish my mod, any recommendations on where to go for a good price? I was considering Discount Tire but I am sure there are other companies I could contact. Any opinions? Thank you for the advice!

If you can get in on Discount Tire Direct's free shipping it can be an excellent deal. I've usually bought from them or Tirerack, had them shipped for free, then mounted locally.

I've ordered from Tirerack.com with good results. Fast service, good price--I like their online reviews, too.

check with both tirerack and discounttires. I live in both LA and Texas, so I would order from tirerack when I'm shipping to texas since it's tax free, and I would order from discounttires when I'm shipping to LA which would be tax free.

I ordered Uniroyal tires from Walmart and had them installed. Long track is the name I think. They were a good buy - $400 for 4 of them, great traction, long wearing, not TOO noisy but not quiet. Uniroyal is made by Michellin which is the best. If money is no object, get Michellin's Pilot Exalto 16s for sportiness or Primacy for luxury/quietness.
