2001 Avalon signal problem

Hello all,

Can anyone help me to determine the signal problem for my 2001 Avalon XL with the following diagnostics:

1. When turn switch for the right signals, it's working normal.

2. When turn switch for the left signals, both blinker on dash board and outside signal lights not come on except i hear a "FAST CLIKING" sound.

3. When turn switch for the left signals just right before it latched in place then both outside signal and dash board blinker blinking normally.

I wonder is it the faulty "Turn signal switch" or "Flasher" or something else.

Since right turn is normal, and left works just short of latch position, sounds like a switch issue rather than flasher.
