I replaced the two Air/Fuel sensors and the downstream oxygen sensor. Put in a new Mass Airspeed sensor and the engine felt very robust. New tires,front struts/bearings/ ball joints/sway links and bushings made for a smooth ride. How robust? I drove to Vail and back and averaged 30 mpg ! Best I ever got was 27 when it was new. Who'd a thunk it? Maybe all that synthetic fluid useage is paying off.
