2003 Avalon Front Wheel Bearings

I'm pretty sure that I have a bad drivers side front wheel bearing on this vehicle. I've read the thread on here regarding changing bearings, and picked up a hub assy with pre-installed bearing from local AutoZone. AZ's online repair guide references both front and real oil seals for the bearing assembly. Am I correct in assuming (I know I shouldn't assume) that the '03 bearings are of the sealed variety and do not require additional seals? (Judging by the appearance they do look sealed).....
Also, is the snap ring at the rear used for "seating" the bearing, or is there a lip inside the knuckle assembly?
Fortunately, I do have access to a friends 50 ton press, so I don't think I'll have problems with the removal/replacement of the bearing.
