Hi, new to the forum...I have a 2004 Avalon XLS with just under 100,000 miles. Recently it has been acting a little different.

It has acted like it was hesitating or something when it was first started. This has only happened a couple of times, intermittently, not every time.

Tonight, it acted that way, but seems "bogged down" on start up. While in park, I gently revved the engine (not full throttle) since it seemed like it wasn't getting enough fuel...when I did that it made a sound from the engine, then the track, VSC and check engine lights came on, I drove around the block and decided to keep it at home. I shut it off and restarted it hoping the lights would be off...they stayed on...

This car has been great with no other issues to speak of...any idea what it could be? Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I would start by getting the Check Engine Light codes scanned, Autozone does it for free. Has the timing belt been changed before?
