Replacing cigarette lighter socket

Hi. I need to change the cigarette lighter socket but am not sure how to do it. I have a 2001 Avalon xls. I checked the fuse and it's ok. I took out the ashtray so I could see a little better and it seems the light is somehow attached to the lighter socket. Does anyone know how I can safely remove the lighter socket so I can put a new one in? Thank you for your time and help.

Since no one has responded so far it may be that no other members have changed out a lighter socket. Your best bet may be to purchase a $15, two-day subscription to Toyota's TIS (Technical Information System) that allows you unlimited access to all the schematics, data, and how-tos regarding your Avalon.
