Any idea where to find a sludge engine car

I've been thinking of trading my 2000 avy with 180K miles for something that looks a little better. It's pretty beat up. I was looking at some lower mile 2ng generation avys and started thinking I might be able to find a sludger someplace fairly inexpensive and do an engine swap. I called a couple of local places with no luck. One pick and pull had one but they already sold off a lot of the body parts. Any ideas where to look?

Salesmen at Toyota Dealerships would be my first thought.
Talk to them about a bird dog fee, and see what happens.
