wiper motor problem

My wiper motor works but not in the intermittent mode.
It also will not return Home when the wipers shut off.

I fixed this problem by resoldering this piece , see picture, oh I don't see how to add pictures

I just used some copper foil (from the stain glass supply store) to help add some support for soldering.
