Install was a breeze with everything matching up just as it should. It took away all of my sag I had in the rear end, and all of the floating and slop in the ride. the ride is much firmer though I am sure after a few thousand miles it will soften up some.
For the cost of $360.00 shipped, I am very pleased with the outcome so far as first impressions.

The Following User Says Thank You to BiXLL For This Useful Post:
These are the ready-strut/ swap-out types? So you didn't have to rebuild the strut and you got new springs with them? That's a pretty good price either way.
yeah, these were struts and springs all put together out of the box. I will need to have a little time with them for a real evalutation, but as of now I could not be more happy!

BiXLL - I plan to replace all my struts over Christmas. May PM you just before to see if you are still happy with these. as they seem a great deal. Thanks for the update.

mine are still stiff as well. i got them from the same place-completestruts.com. hopefully they get a little softer, but i'm happy overall.
LOL, I was about to growl at you for not responding when a few members including myself first became interested in these and asked if anyone had any experiance with them and got no reply. Then I see you just joined so would not have seen the post. Dang I HATE to waist a good growl!

Had 4 wheel alignment done. Toe was out on all 4 wheels but especially in the rear. Car actually feels like suspension softened up after alignment, not near as soft as it was before new springs/struts, but not near as stiff feeling as it did.

Any clue if the rear offer any better ride height? You throw 2 adults in the back seat of mine & if feels like the rear bumper is dragging the ground & youbottom out over every bump.

if anything, it raised it higher then I wanted. It almost has a slight rake now!

BiXLL, I too am interested in your impression. I replaced front two several months ago with Gabriel "Ready Mount" struts. Not happy with the clunking noises I get going over bumps, especially on the passenger side. Checked and everything is tight. Must be the mounts?? Thanks.

After having it aligned, rotating tires, and driving it for week I am much happier then my initial thoughts were. I think mine was just so soft and wore out it was a massive change that took a few days to get used to. I have absolutly no problems with any noises and the car really feels good now. I am pretty anal about that sort of stuff too, so if there were any clunks or noises I would notice them.

Wish I had known about this site before I paid my local Toyota dealer over $600.00 to replace the front strut mounts in a failed bid to stop the clunking noise. I could have replaced the KYB's and both front assemblies at a substantial savings.
