Question 04 Avalon aftermarket stereo install problems

so i'm installing a stereo in my girlfriends car. everything goes good until i actually plug the new deck in... the deck works fine, just no audio.

i did use METRA part 70-8113 which has some wires and RCA's to plug into the new deck. i'm guessing this is so you can use the factory amp with it.

everything looks right... i did connect the extra ground from the pionner deck (labeled "amp ground black with white stripe) to the ground from the harness together with the stereo ground.

still not getting audio... did anyone have any issues? it does have the JBL system from the factory.

i have a 2000 avalon xls with jbl and i have the same exact wire harness and yes those rca are for the audio it says on the instruction paper that came with the wire harness youll need to have a after market deck with at lleast two rca outputs just two hear the front and rear although my deck doesnt have three to hook up subs so i just dont use my rear speakers and and have the subs on the second but im sure if you find out the wire diagram for the radio you could tap into the speaker wires with the wires of the deck. but if you want sound then plug the rca's into the head unit
