2003 avalon problems
Hi,
2 weeks ago I had the EGR cover plate replaced, it was leaking antifreeze.
the job was done and no more leaks. Now on cold starts the car runs very rich
and you can smell the fumes. That goes away when engine slows to normal idle. I already replaced one o2 sensor. The car runs fine but now fuel economy
has dropped to 11.5 mpg, this is intown driving. It's my mom's car but she is complaining about the fuel mileage. She wants me to use the car for work and back but with 11.5 it's to costly and my 4 cyl camary goes for better fuel economy 24-30 winter driving mixed roads and highway. Does anyone know what I can check to solve this problem.
