Need struts and springs suggestions... 01 Avalon XLS

Picked up my Avalon on Friday and I just hate the boatiness of it. Brakes are too sticky making the car lean forward too much when ever I stop. I want to replace all 4 struts and maybe get better coils for them. Only one seem available is Intrax which lowers roughtly 1.9". Does anyone know what springs and struts I can put on here? I see supports for Solara and Camry but hardly any for the avalon. I heard that the Camry and Avalon have interchangable parts. Can Camry struts be used on an Avalon? What about springs? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

what year camry are interchangable with my 01 avalon? The weigh tof the avalon and the camry is different, wouldn't the ride quality suck if I used camry coils on an avalon since the compress rate is different?

it wouldnt suck as bad as it currently is =) and the weight difference isnt too bad =)
look for 01 parts i assume. that makes it gen 4? if youre a real cheap ass like me, just get springs =) although for me now after 40k (km) my 7 year old shocks are starting to wear and not rebound fast enough making me bottom out quite badly =(

what kind of springs do you have? I'm looking to get rims first, then do shocks and springs together.

yes they will even thought they are made for the 4cyl, and yours is a 6cyl...you'll just end up with a lower drop than they advertise....which may be a good thing depending on what you're asking for

But on your idea to get rims first....its best to drop your car first, as bigger rims will just accentuate the large wheel gaps that our cars already have
