what size tires on 18 for 01 Avalon?

tirerack recommend 215/45/18 can I go wider like 225/45/18? Rims are something like 18x7.5 with a +48 offset.

225/45 some are going to argue 50 series though.

I would put 235s or 245s on. I have 225/40/18s on it now and there still to skinny looking.

When I put the 19s on next month the tires are gonna be 245/35/19.
