how much for a shop to make a 2.5 inch pipe

i wanna put on a new exhaust on the avalon. want 2.5 inch... how much do you think they will charge me for a 2.5 inch pipe from the cat to the muffler minus the resonator/silencer... do you think its wise to get rid of the resonator/silencer? how much loader will it make it? will i gain much power from this exhaust? havent decided on the muffler yet.. any suggestions? price: pipe and weld work should be around $100 USD

no res = tinny crack;le marbles in muffler wound
res dont make it quieter, just changes teh note.

power gain - probably nothing at all, its all a mental power gain.

cheap muffler = shit sound <-- trust me.

CHEAP? you get what you pay for.

V6? get one of these instead:

Im guessing you just aquired your Avalon. Remember, its an AVALON. If you are going for performance, there really is not much you can do unless it is custom like you are talking about. Custom = not cheap. As previously stated: "its a mental gain," very true. Your better off either saving your money for the 1MZFE supercharger....which is about 3 grand without installation (and then you would need more engine work after that). You can however lower your car and some suspension work, and then you can replace ur brake rotors/calipers. But as far as performance engine work, good luck.

My personal oppinion, treat the avalon like it was intended...as luxary. Pimp it out, dont rice it out.
