Custom Grille for '00 Avalon

Has anyone come across a source for a custom Avalon grille? I was thinking of a mesh (chrome or black) style grille to replace the stock chrome vertical bar style.
TIA

I'm guessing, by all the responses to this questions, that nobody has come across anything. Oh, well........

toyota/sportivo make a all black plastic one.

HOW TO MAKE A BETTER GRILLE

I just made my grill look way better for 3$. I went to autozone and bought a door trim/guard pack of 2 with the chrome look. Then cut them into lots of bout 1/2 inch pices. Next I just slid them on top of the 2 parts of the grill going horizontel. then I removed the gold toyota emblem with heating it up with a blow dryer. If someone can post the pics ill send em to ya.

Also I tinted my tail lights(looks sweet!) and removed the silver piece on the trunk above the liscenses plate. Removed the toyata symbol and sanded it down. Then got some plasic paint in gloss black (also at autoxone). Cleaned it up real good and painted it. Looks so sweet. Now my car looks like a bmw(expensive)type of car. Also you need to remove some screws on the inside of the trunk(3 actually) and heat the edges of the plastic piece to remove it. easy.

So for a about $13 I made this car look pimp.

$3 door guard
$6 paint
$4 sandpaper

I will take pics tomorrow but someone will have to post them.

I though of that and took a look. Could be done but would have to be careful and would be alot of work. Ill prob try that when i have more time but for $3 it looks much better now with just inserting the chrome looking inserts.

Time to resurrect this thread.

I'm sick of the grille on my 2000 XLS. Time to go for something new.

Anyone found anything yet?

I'm seriously considering carving out the innards and meshing it...all it takes is 10 minutes at Home Depot for some gutter guard and a fully charged up Dremel, correct? Some zip ties?

2000Avalon, you said you were planning to post up some pictures. I'd really like to see what the trunk looks like with the chrome piece yanked. I've been toying with that for about a year, but haven't had the nerve to actually do it yet.
