teh camry V6 (95+?), sienna, and ES300 (also 95+ i think) all have that engine. Also the Highlander V6. Can't think of anything else (in the US) that has a 1MZ. not all of those came with the vvt-i version, but they all have some form of the 1MZ (until it ws replaced with teh 3MZ).
no one makes a v6 cai thats worth the money, let alone fit perfect.
make your own.

that would mean its no longer timing belt but a timing chain?
toyota use chains on interference engines.

Toyota doesn't always switch to timing chains on interference engines. Usually when they update an older block like say the 1MZ (3MZ is included even tho it is newer) and the 2UZ (Tundra V8, etc.) with VVT-i, they usually still use a belt driven cam gear. There's a complete list on Toyota's site. I'll copy and paste the important ones to help you guys out.
Avalon
1995-2004 V6 Belt
2005 V6 Chain
Camry
1990-2001 All Belt
2002-2005 4 Cylinder Chain
2002-2005 V6 Belt
Notice that the Avalon's new V6 (2GR-FE) uses a chain because it's a new block. The older 1MZ or newer 3MZ based on the older 1MZ are still belts. So yes, do change your belt at 90,000 mile intervals for 1999 and newer or 60,000 miles for 1998 and under.
