Newbie - Avalon owner

Hello all,
My wife just bought an 01 Avalon last night and she really loves it. I don't know too much about the Avalons, but from what I gather they are very good cars.

I do have a question... I need to install her XM rcvr in the Avalon. Is there an interior power drop I can plug into?

Sorry that I can't answer your question but I did want to welcome you to the group .

How do you like your GP/GTP? I've been waiting to go see the new GP if and when they ever decide to release it. I believe it was originally suppose to be released in April but my local dealer has not heard when it will be released.

Thanks, maybe I'll just try splicing into the cig lighter. That seems to be a common place.
I love my GTP. As for the new ones, if you're talking about the GXP's, they're already out. They're just hard to find. I was looking around the dealers here in Austin, but none of them had one. I met up with a guy that bought one and wow. The V8 really puts a kick in your pants. They have an odd tire size, 255's up front and 225's in the rear. No rotating tires for this car.

I'm not sure if they're factory or not. I think they are even 15" rims. Did the Av come with 15's? I thought they came with 16's.
I really haven't had time to get a real good look at the car. I've had family down and they've been taking up all of my time, but they are now gone and tonight I'm giving the car a real good once over. I want to get her XM installed and clean under the hood. Appearently dealerships no longer clean under the hood of used cars.
