Override Nav nags

For the Prius and Sienna, folks have created work arounds for the limitation on using the Nav while moving (by interrupting the speed signal to the nav unit).

There is a site that sells an"intermediate" harness that goes between the existing harness and nav unit that handles the Agree prompt and the motion limition. I sent them some emails asking if it would work with the Avalon and got no response.

Harass them and show interest!

Hi drzeller, I have a 05 Avalon LDT. and I cant agree more on the stubern "I Agree" promt. and the limitations on the Nav. system.
I cheked out the link and thats alsome. I wonder if thay have some of thees goodies for my Avalon?

If by any chance you have some info. for the 05 Avalon LTD. I would apriciate the help.

I did get a response from them (third time is a charm!). They said they are working on something for the Avalon but that it is not available yet. I'd encourage you to inquire as well so they see additional interest.
