I would look at Maya or RH wheels for your Avalon.

18" Rims

18" rims will fit on 2005/2006 Avalon as I have a set. But you are limited to 7.5" width. The offset is +40mm. The Michelin 235/45/R18 are the same rolling diamiter as the original 17"

I know that people are fitting 8.5" wide rims with 38-35mm offsets. 20x8.5 with 245/35/20 set ups are fitting with no problems and there is room to spare in the back. In fact, 255/35/20 with 38mm offset will fit as well but it will be tight because is is a slightly taller set up. 255/40/18 has a nearly identical overall circumfrence as the factroy 215/55/17 and with the correct offset will fill in those wheel wells nicely. This car is begging for a much wider set up. From the factory the wheels are tucked in too much and it looks "wimpy". Just my opinion...
