2005-2006 windshield & wiper problem

Does anyone that has a 2005 or 2006 Avalon have a problem with the windshield wiper blades leaving a perminent mark/line where the blades stop on the windshield? When it is dry, I do not notice anything on the windshield. But when it rains or it gets wet you can see the cloudy line on the windshield where the blades stop. Water does beed off that line as well. The right side blade stops is directly viewing area of the driver. It is annoying!! Yes, I tried cleaning the windshield and the blades it but the mark/line still remains. Any suggestions before I take it to the dealer? Thanks.

Try some Rain-X to clean it and maybe after you may not ever need your wipers again! I am a big Rain-X fan, give it a try. The only issue occurs when you pass under a street light at night and for an instant you'll get a brief reflection off all the water beads, but it does not bother me.

That's not a fault of the wiper blades, it's a problem with pollution. The rain hitting your car has so much dirt in it that the dirt builds up where the wiper blade pushes it.
