XM Radio - Avalon 2007

Got the XM radio installed and I noticed that there is one portion of the screen that says "TEXT" constantly. I can see the artist and title areas just fine. Is this "TEXT" always supposed to be on the screen?

I have dealer insatlled XM radio on my 06. The button 'Text' on the controls toggles the text on the display from station to artist to the number in some such order but the text 'Text' does not display anywhere. Try this button and see what it does....

Thanks. I'll try that. It's odd. It shows up just above the name/title area in large print. I'll try the button tomorrow.

How many characters are displayed for Artist and Title?

On my 2005 only 10 show even though XM broadcasts 32. This is a defect IMO but Toyota thinks it is OK.

It scrolls 32 characters for CDs but not for XM.
