Question A/C Evaporator Drain Extension Hose

Has anyone investigated where the A/C Evaporator Petcock Drain is located on the side engine right side of the firewall?

Many vehicles, including Toyota, have an evaporator weep tube that allows condensation to drain from the A/C unit. The problem is in many cases that water drips directly onto the frame, and eventually it will accelerate a rust condition in that area. It is simple enough to attach a length of nylon tubing to the evaporator petcock tube and divert the water away from the frame.

My wife has the car all the time and I have not had a chance to find the petcock drain tube yet.

it comes out the bottom of the car just to the passenger side of center and just behind the firewall and drains directly to the ground.

From your description I gather there is no need for an extension tube beyond what is there? Thank you.
