05 Limited Engine Noise

Have noticed engine hissing noise louder then usual coming from front of engine near water pump pulley area. Sounds like a hissing noise and varies with rpm's. Have an 08 Highlander with same engine and its quiet. Have 33K miles on Limited and want to know if anyone has experienced same and what was found to be cause. Warranty running out soon and don't want to get stuck later. Any ideas would be appreciated before I take it to dealer for his song and dance.

Thanks

Engine Noise Solved

The whine in the front of engine near water pump was determined by dealer to be the idler pulley and tension pulley. They have been ordered for replacement under warranty. 33K miles.

Noisy Pulleys

Air filter changed to K&N. As stated previously, dealer found problem to be a noisy idler and tension pulleys. Replaced under warranty. Problem solved.
Thanks
