cd jam!

On my first road trip in my '05, my lovely better half pushed 2 cds inside without waiting for the green light. Now, they are both stuck on top of each other and cannot be ejected. I have been told that if you get them professionally removed there is a very high chance the cd unit will still not work. Any experience with this or does anyone know someone in the Toronto area who could help me. I am thinking I might as well upgrade to a unit with a mp3 outlet. Any suggestions on a replacement that wouldn't cost an arm and a leg. I hear Kenwood has a unit that would work for less than $500 installed.

If you can remove the player you can take off the cover and gently remove the extra disk.
