Laser Cruise Control

I had trouble the other day with my Laser Cruise Control. It kept resetting and I got the code C2 on the dash. Was that because it was raining? I don't remember this happening previously. Later that day on the return trip it worked fine. Does a moderate rain affect it? Thanks.

Yes, that is probably the reason it stopped working. I have had the same experience. The unit is mounted at the lower left of the front, and is susceptable to water and road spray. I will also stop working properly if the lens is dirty.

That's what the problem is. It also won't work if the lens is excessively dirty or when you're driving into a setting (or rising) sun.

Overall - I really don't like the Laser Cruise. I just set it to the normal cruise mode every time.
