aftermarket hard installed bluetooth

after using a portable blutooth device I decided it is time for the real deal. I went to an installer and he is recommending one of the parrot units. He will supply a harnes that mutes the radio when a call comes in. Anyone have any experience with these? Is the parrott a good one?

At one point I looked at the bluetooth that goes in the sun glass holder but I really want the sound to come through the radio speakers.

Just to let you know, I have the BlueConnect (in the sun glass holder) and it really does work great.. It is more than load enough and has a very nice "built in" look and feel..

Thanks I just really like the ones that are hooked into the radio. The one I am looking at will mute the radio when I get a phone call.

I love the Parrot products because of the feature that mutes your music when a call comes in and lets you make your conversation with out noise. If you do decide to get it done & if your not confident to do it your self then get it done at Circuit City because they will guaranty their work at any store.

3rd Generation I'm looking to do the same!

I have been looking for a integated bluetooth solution as well. My research so far for the Parrott devices don't seem to come with or offer a wiring harness that would connect to the audio system. There are other car kits out there and I have found another that meets my needs, but I cannot remember the name. I have a 2005 Avalon Limited with the navigational system and I was able to get the XM radio integated to that system just fine. Any other suggestions! Thanks!

I got the parror installed. It works great!!!! When I have the radio on and a song comes in the speakers mute and the front speakers have the phone call on them. All automatically. Works great.

I will take a photo when I have a sec.
