Can the horn be turned down so its not SO LOUD when we set the alarm?

We have a 2008 Avalon.

Check your manual, which it might state if it can be disabled. I took my '08 Camry to the dealership this weekend and had them disable the audio (buzzer/chirp) for the keyless entry. I was annoyed by parking next to a Toyota/Lexus on either side of me with the exact buzzer/chirp. I also disabled the chime for the seatbeats. Good luck! Eric.

Thanks for the "info". I took it back to the dealer and he reinstalled a new chip that only "blinks".
