XM to SIRIUS conversion
I replaced the factory installed XM tuner in my 2007 Avalon with a SIRIUS tuner. It was much easier than I thought it would be. Lucky for me, the tuner was installed in the trunk which made for less anxiety taking apart the dash.
One thing I don't like about the SIRIUS aftermarket system (TOY-SC1 & SCC1) is that the steering wheel controls don't function quite the sames as the XM tuner did. I can't skip from one preset to another, rather it just moves up and down the channels. If any one knows how to fix this (if possible) I would be interested.
Also, if anyone is interested in a XM tuner and antenna I would sell the one I just removed for $125. It worked excellent, I just like the SIRIUS programming better.
