Alarm and door issues

My smart key does not have any control over the drivers side rear door and the beep sound only beeps sometimes when i lock the car. I figured there was a fuse or something wit hthe door prob but i have no idea how the beep would be controlled.

Any ideas how i could fix this without going to the dealer and paying $100 just to look at it?

If the system detects that one of the door is not properly closed it will not beep. Your left rear door might be the cause of the whole thing, whatever, it is doing.

What the left rear door doing? Won;t lock, won't unlock?

N.E.O.

The door was not unlocking due to the actuator not functioning, the dealer fixed the problem. I still have no idea about the alarm system not beeping when I activate the alarm. I disconnected the battery and the alarm reset to normal, it must have programmed itself to be silent. This made me wonder if there was a way to program the settings by using certain button sequences.
