Bluetooth Pairing - 08 Avalon

New member and first post here. Very familiar with forums and search tools and I have already STFA. I picked up a used 08 Avalon yesterday. I have gone through the manuals and have learned most I need to already.

I am having a problem pairing my phone. It is a Moto Razo V3c on Verizon. I had no trouble at all pairing with my previous car (BMW). When I try to pair in Avalon, it provides passcode and does a search. It never finds my phone. All I hear is "Searching". My phone has bluetooth ON and a strong tower signal.

Is there another trick I need to know?

thanks in advance

Al

Is it one that is on the list of phones that Toyota has tested? Check this site: http://toyota.letstalk.com/brands/toyota-bt/home.htm.

It works with that phone. The lets talk site is a little behind.

Thanks all,

I got it all done today. My phone was acting squirrelly. When it found the device, it was not allowing me to enter the passcode. Finally today, it did. So I loaded up my phone book and got familiar with the bluetooth. It works fine, but the IDrive screen in the BMW was a much better bluetooth system. Oh well, I bought the Avalon for different reasons.
