I just purchased a 2005 Avalon Limited. I would like to know what the sound is behind the dash when going stepping on the brake to start the car. It is equipped with the smart key system. The noise is like a linear-actuator or electric motor sound. I am just curious what the system is doing, the noise is from under the dash panel by the steering wheel. tia jon
