If so … what is it going to be called?
From what I've got from some, it's eating into the sales of some Lexus models.
Hell - when I picked mine up (2008 Avalon Touring Sedan), there was a local doctor who had just picked up his second Avalon and said, he and his friends are all switching to Avalons, (from Lexus's) and saving $30,000.00 over the price of a similar equipped Lexus. Not likely to be what Toyota had in mind with this model.
He said he gave up a bit of "Status" by going DOWN to an Avalon, but he said "Hell, I'm a doctor, how much status do I need
They do sell too well, for them not to make it, or a replacement model. So it go away, but it will have a replacement worth checking out.
