Hi Brian!

I'm looking to order the JBL Synthesis unit that includes the MP3/WMA playing capability and Bluetooth if possible for my 08 avalon. I already have the 12 speakers but the bloody dealer here does not bring the high end JBL synthesis :-( He is the only one on the island and the price of the car is 38,000 usd. No navi, no MP3/Wma capability, no bluetooth, no backup camera or sensors, no Laser guided cruise control...

My question is that my car is middle east specs, does it matter when it comes to the electrics? I mean will it be difficult unpluggging the JBL that is on my avalon (does not play MP3/WMA) and connecting the new one? Do you guys have that unit to begin with?

That is a great question. I can't pull the Middle East specs. With that said, when I get to work on Monday I'll make a few phone calls to Corp and see what I can do to help you. It could be as simple as a plug in but, I doubt it.

I received little help from my regional call center (none really!) I have a call in with the main center at CA. Last time I did this, it took almost two weeks to get a response. I won't give up yet on this!

Did you get any info on how i can get a jbl system?

The dealer here is an A$$! They dont know shit!
The ppl are not trained and dont know anything about what they are selling.

I like that fact that toyota's are good cars but i'm getting really fed up with how things work here. I regret buying a toyota!

I can't wait to get a jbl unit that plays mp3 so i can take it over to the dealer and rub it in his face!!!
