Laser Cruise Control

Can any one please tell me why c 2 keeps coming up when it is raining out and what can you do about it? Thank You

In the owners manual it states that the laser system will not work in the rain. I have found that light rain usually doesn't affect the laser cruise, but any substantial rainfall shows the error message. I don't think there is anything you can really do about it. I know that my 05 is sensitive to dirt/film on the sensor, and I try to make sure the receiver/transmitter unit is nice and clean, although I do not use the laser cruise very often.
