Question Backup sensors for 2009 Avalon

Is the 2009 Avalon pre-wired for the backup sensors? In other words does the kit that you purchase from Toyota have a harness that plugs into an existing harness so you just install the beeper up front somewhere with the control module in the rear near the sensors?

normally it should come pre-wired. best way to check is look under the rear bumper for the power cord.
for some reason my 08 XLS did not come pre-wired, asked the service tech and he doesn't know why either. so i couldn't get the parking senor package from the dealership.

I did find one that looks promising, no holes to drill either.

It’s the DT-404HLP

Dealer said mine is not pre-wired either. They do sound easy to install. Will just need to run a wire up to the front for the beeper module.

that does look very suitable without the need to drill holes
but seems like need to drill a hole behind the plate for the wire to go thru
now i just wonder if the sensors are accurate since our plate position sits on the low side of the rear bumper.
and i'm guessing wire the system to rear reverse lights to turn it on? it doesn't seem to include any wiring instructions in the installation file.

I think the area behind the plate is open so no need to drill. I thought the positioning on the plate would be fine. As far as directions I think they said they came with the unit and the ones on the website for this unit were supplementary.
