I Would Have Gotten The Avalon But There's No Body Kit Option...
Hello Avalon Owners!
I went with an '08 Camry SE V6 in Blue Ribbon Metallic after my '99 Accord EX V6 Coupe was totalled from a drunk driver slamming into us, and I really wanted a BIG sedan for this current ride...I would have definitely gotten the Avalon because if its size and luxury, but there was no "sporty" option with a body kit of any kind, as the Camry had with the SE...
I know it's not really the demographic Toyota is going after with the Avalon, but do you think they will eventually come out with a version including skirts and lowering kits of some kind for this model? Are aftermarket pieces abudantly available for the Avalon?
I really wanted a BIG car, as I said, so I was looking at the Charger and 300, but once those were loaded up they were really expensive and the SE just had the look I wanted -- but it's really the baby of the midsize class...
correct me if i'm wrong, but i believe the avalon is based on an extended camry chassis and have similar engine and suspension components. so things like lowering springs and sway bars should fit.

But what about pieces like the front rear and side body kit skirts from, say, the Camry SE?
Yep, it's a factory kit. I've only seen 3 other avalons in town with the kit. It's a special edition package and they come with 18" bbs wheels also. I don't know why toyota decided to keep it only in the southeast. That is an aftermarket grille and I changed out the exhaust tips.

Wow. That package is SWEET; much nicer than the kit they drop on the Camry -- my SE's kit is WAY too subtle and ineffective. Those rims on your car are the FACTORY 18 BBSs too? They look much larger than that -- did you swap them out for 20s or something?
Why would Toyota have put BBS rims on the car out of the factory with that special edition package instead of, say, TRD rims from their own tuner division, as the ones I bought?
i've dealt with these guys before and so have a lot of club lexus people. they are pretty good, customer service is top notch and they call you to confirm your order and such.
it's pretty much same as 00avxls posted, but this time it's available nationwide and not only limited to the southeast toyota dealers
