Mystery light

I have a friend who has a 2005 Avalon XLS with 40K miles. Recently the car would not start and he said the engine made a spinning sound rather than a normal cranking sound. Now for the mystery, this has occurred intermittently and his wife who normally drives it said when it happens a yellow light in the far right corner is displayed with what she describes as a light with two legs. It's in the shop now but does anyone know what the light is saying?

It's saying, "You car won't start - get out and walk."

Thanks, at least she can tell her husband who did not believe her. Almost like pouring salt in the wound. At least it wasn't a smiley face.

Ichecked my warning lights on my 2007 Avalon and the only one close to her description was the ABS warning light and it is on the right side. From prior experience with other cars the warning light may not be the problem as I've had several warning lights come on in my 2006 Chevy Equinox and the problem was a faulty ECM. Good luck!
