Thumbs up 2008 Grille in a 2006 Limited

Has anybody ever thought about putting a 2008 grille in a older 2006 Limited? It looks like it should work. Checking online parts catalogs it says 2008 still has a painted grille but all I have seen are all chrome.

BTW, love the fourm, keep up the good work.

Yeahhh its fricking cold here, it hit -52 with the windchill this winter but the other day it was +5, its all messed up.

As far a the oil goes I run 5/30 full synthetic plus it sits in a heated garage and hardly gets driven in the winter, its more of a summer car.

Now, how about the grille question. Any takers??

Nope, it won't fit. 2008 grille is a little bit bigger than the 05-07.

I'm probably going to change my bumper and fogs to the 08 models. I think it looks a lot better than the 05-07.
