Laser Cruise Control

I think somebody hit my front end or kicked it or...? I had the car parked in a crowded mall parking lot. Whenever I try to activate my cruise control whether laser or standard, it gives me a "E3 error" ! can anyone shed some light on the subject, I appreciate it.

I've gotten errors before when the front of the sensor was dirty. Have you tried cleaning it off?

Thanks for the tip. I just tried it but no luck.

More info: The standard CC does turn on and no error message at slow speeds.

If the unit isnt damaged they can be re-aimed. It isnt hard to do but does require a dealer only scan tool.

With our 05 the wife got tapped in the front right in a parking lot. The dealer reset the unit and it worked fine. I think it was an e3 error too.
