Hi
I am in Dubin, Ireland and am looking to swap a 2GR-FE into my '96 MR2 Spider.
But we have an emissions test and they will test my car based on emissions standards for a 96 3S-GE
So, I was hoping to find out what emissions are being produced by 2GR-FE's ?
The following are the emissions tests done here in Ireland and the pass/fail levels required fr my 96 MR2.
Low Idle (850rpm) - They test CO and HC. If CO is above 0.5% vol, it fails - for whatever reason, they said the HC test at low idle was N/A, so I passed
High Idle (2900rpm), Lambda reading was 1.019 - a pass was between 0.97 and 1.03.
CO at high idle is a fail over 0.3% vol (I got 0.17%vol on my 3S-GE)
HC at high idle is a fail above 200ppm (I got 31ppm)
TIA
Rob
