I use pennsoil platinum full synthetic 5w30. 5qt jugs for $20 from walmart. (6.5qt need per change) I also like Mobil1. And for Dino Oil I like Castrol GTX, but have been using synthetics for all my cars.

I use toyota oil filters, ironically cheaper than napa, purolator or fram.

mobil1 5w30 (truck and suv if you can find it) is your best bet for the $. Its 23$ for a big jug at walmart. You will need one of those and a smaller one. I use it with wix oil filters.

Whatever the dealer uses. That way you can hold them accountable for premature engine failure.

This is the best answer, especially if you're still under warranty.

Thumbs up Synthetic Oils

I use Castrol 5w50 Advance Auto Parts
or
Mobil 5W50 Friend in Maine brings it to me every summer from Canada

My Blackstone Laboratories Results prove these oils offer superior protection in South Florida with excellent fuel economy.

I used to use Mobil 1 5w30 from Costco with poor oil test results. I switched to Mobil 1 15W50 with great oil test results but lost fuel economy.

Mt two cents...

Everyone is going to have their own prefrence/brand loyal, but I have always used Mobil 1 and have not had any issues on the following vehicles that I maintain since they all had 0 miles on them:
1987 jeep cherokee 198000 miles, 1994 chevy beretta 125000 miles,2003 chevy tahoe 58000 miles, 2004chevy tahoe 99000 miles, and finally the 2008 avalon with 18000 miles. I buy the 5qt jugs at walmart of 5W30 and none of these vehicles have had leaks nor use any oil. Make sure whatever brand oil you go with to not skimp on the filter and use a quality one.....purolator, wix/napa, or oem; steer clear of the FRAMs as they are crap and there are several reviews out there to back it up.
