Audio input to JBL sound in '06 Avalon

I'm checking out the prospects for getting MP3 audio into the sound system. Reports I've read on the RF adapters are discouraging. I have installed a Nav Video adapter to provide backup camera video. That was so easy I was thinking there must be a similar device for allowing audio inputs, but so far no luck.

Any thoughts?

I have been using a USA Spec PA-15Toy adapter to play our ipod thru the factory stereo on our 05 limited with nav. It has been working great, installed in January. You can also use any type of MP3 player, just using the rca inputs on the adapter.

Looks good, as it should at the price. How does it hook up, in the trunk at teh NAV box, or in the center console? I use a Creative Zen player, and all it has is an audio out.

Thanks.

I am confused the 20 or 15? I have 06 with JBL/NAV limited model.

Just pull the radio and input in Aux jack?

Check out VAIS Technologies products. I went with the SLS, which allowed me to install a Sirius Sat receiver, and also plug in an Ipod.

I've not done it, but I do know you have to pull the radio in order to plug the harness into the Aux input on the back of the radio. There's probably also a box that has to be mounted somewhere and plugged into a power source. Somehow an audio cord has to be strung out to an accessible location.

I wonder if there is an online installation guide one can look at before buying?
