I am wondering if anyone who installed their rear spoiler themselves still has the installation template. I have ordered the pre-painted spoiler from my local dealer and they just called today and said it was in, but that the installation kit is no longer available. When I asked if that meant there was no hardware, he said that the hardware came with the spoiler. The install kit is mainly a template on where to drill the 5 holes that need to be drilled in the trunk. 2 bolts on the ends and 3 snap in clips in the middle. I will probably try making a template from cardboard if I can not find one. However I thought I would toss this out here to see if maybe someone who did their own install still has the template. I would think that if it could be copied on multiple sheets of paper it might be able to be faxed to me.
Funny that someone replied to this today because I finally decided to make one from some mylar that we had around the house for stenciling. I was able to cut the mylar to match the shape of the bottom of the spoiler and punch holes to match the 2 bolts and the 3 plastic pins. I then taped it to the trunk and measured, measured, and measured some more. It was really unnerving to drill holes in my beautiful car, but it was either I drill them, or I pay someone else to drill them. The other challenge, is I found the instructions for installation online, but it called for a 7.5mm drill. Could not find one at the local hardware store so I went with 19/64 inch drill. It is about .0015 too large, but I do not think it will impact the holding power of the plastic clips.
After being really sure the template was where I wanted it, I got up the nerve to hit the trunk with the center punch and drilled the holes. The spoiler also has double side tape along the leading edge of the spoiler, so after snapping it into the holes, you need to pull the tape and stick the leading edge down. All in all, I am very happy with the installation and the way it looks on the car.

silicone the holes from underneath/inside the truck to make sure water cannot get in and corrode the thing

I actually silconed all the holes before I pushed the spoiler on to the car. I just did not go into all the details. I stripped the wax off the back half of the trunk lid too so the double sided tape would adhear better. Thanks for the input though, appreciate you looking out for my interest.
